Nancy Hill

Ms. Nancy Marie Greene Russell Hill age 73, of Old HWY 109, Lexington died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Tim Miller. Interment will follow at Walters Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Hill was born Sept. 26, 1941 in Guilford County to Earl Greene and Bessie Deaton Greene. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Seagrove and a homemaker. In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Houston Russell and second husband, Dale Hill; daughter, Sheila Russell; sister, Betty Miller. Surviving are, son, Steve Russell of Asheboro; daughter, Tammy Russell Bumgarner of Warsaw; brother, Bobby Greene (Kay) of Asheboro; sisters, Shirley Moore (Leon) of Asheboro, Joyce Davis of Seagrove, and Carolyn Cagle (Lawrence) of Denton; brother in law, Jack Miller of Asheboro; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and her special canine friend Sassie. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. The family would like to say a special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Randolph Hospice House.
