Zona Brower

Zona Bisher Garner Brower age 90, of Terry Ave. Asheboro died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday at Hoover’s Grove Wesleyan Church conducted by Rev. Stan Asher and Rev. Gene Shanks. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Brower was born August 14, 1922 in Randolph County to Carl Bisher and Imogene Cranford Bisher. She was a member of Hoover’s Grove Wesleyan Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Brower was preceded in death by her first husband, Ritzel Garner, Sr. and by her 2nd husband William Curtis Brower, and also by a daughter, Diane Nelson. Survivors include; sons; Ritzel Garner, Jr. of Randleman and Lonnie James Garner of Asheboro, daughters; Helen Yates of Denton, Jeanette Ball of Lexington, and Cindy Hunt of Denton, and by 4 step children, 20 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the funeral service. And other times at the residence on Terry Ave., Asheboro.
