Winnifred Morris

Mrs. Winnifred Pence Morris, age 97, of N. Bingham St., Denton, NC passed away on April 3, 2024 at Mountain Vista Health Park.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Denton Town Cemetery.

Mrs. Morris was born on May 10, 1926 in Stanly County to Willis N. Pence and Martha Agnes Glover Pence.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Morris on December 9, 2009 and her brother, Willis Pence.

Winnifred is survived by a son, William Morris Jr. of Denton; a daughter Donna Barringer and husband Bobby of Thomasville; and a granddaughter, Amber Barringer of Charlotte.
