William Louis Spivey

CANDOR-William Louis Spivey, 67, of Candor Troy Rd., Candor, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 27, 2006 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Spivey was born May 1, 1938, the son of Jonah Lee Spivey and Kizzy Burris Spivey. He was a supervisor with the foundry service in Biscoe and was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Vietnam era. Mr. Spivey is survived by a nephew, Timmy Spivey of Troy, 2 sisters, Betty Jo Rightmyer of Roanoke Rapids and Peggy Spivey Harris of Troy, and a brother, James M. Spivey of Troy.
