William Baldwin Sneed

William Baldwin Sneed, 83, of Sneed Dr., Candor, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.   Graveside Inurnment will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2017 in the Baldwin Cemetery, Norman, with Rev. Donnie Davis officiating.   Born July 14, 1934, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Daniel Archie and Ethel Lee Baldwin Sneed.  He was a veteran of the US Army and was a barber.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Sneed in 2017.   He is survived by 2 sons, William “Bill” B. Sneed, Jr. (Laurie) of Parkville MD and Roger Darrell Sneed of Jacksonville FL; 3 stepsons, Jackie Brock of Troy, Billy Smith of Biscoe, and Paul Smith of Candor ; stepdaughter, Kelly Burleson of Albemarle; 3 grandchildren, Nicole, Connor and Michael Sneed.   The family will receive friends from Noon to 1:30 PM Saturday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
