William Mabe

Mr. William Lee Mabe, age 83 of Eagle Springs, NC and Little Torch Key, Florida, died Saturday, October 30 in Davie Florida. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 5 at Eagle Springs Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Todd Moore and Rev. Jonas Clark. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Mabe was born June 22, 1927 in Montgomery County to Garrell Mabe and Essie Liles Mabe. He was a graduate of Candor High School and was a retired US Postal Employee. Mr. Mabe was married to Doris Zachary Mabe who survives of Eagle Springs, a son, Edward Mabe of Raleigh and a daughter Rhonda Clark of Southwest Ranches, Florida; grandchildren, Lisa Schmidt, Natasha Wheelock, Nichole Smith and Natalie Clark; and great grandchildren, Christopher Schmidt, Alyssa, Kristiana, and Jocelyn Wheelock.
