William Drewry Jones, Jr

William Drewry Jones, Jr., 74 of Tarry Church Rd., died Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst. Graveside Inurnment with military rites will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at Flint Hill Christian Church, with Rev. Timothy Simmons officiating. Born in Richmond VA on August 21, 1948, he was the son of William D. Jones and Myrtle Saunders Jones. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a regional manager with Quik Chek Stores. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen King Jones of the home; son, Jeff Jones; step-daughter, Kandie Ann Merrill; and a number of grandchildren. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
