William (Bill) Tysinger

( William Jacob “Bill” Tysinger, age 77 of Tysinger Rd., Denton died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 3 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, September 6 at Fairview United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Sandy Young and Rev. Doug Rowe. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence on Tysinger Road. Mr. Tysinger was born June 11, 1936 in Davidson County to Oscar P. Tysinger and Virgie Hill Tysinger. He was a salesman dealing in automobiles and tractors, and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Edith T. Hedrick and a son-in-law Edward Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Everhart Tysinger of the home; a son W. Michael Tysinger and wife Lisa of Denton; daughters Wanda Cox and husband Donald of Denton, Kathy Tysinger and Billy of Winston-Salem and Vickie Rogers of Denton; brothers Bobby Tysinger and wife Frances and Cletus Tysinger and wife Ruby; 11 grandchildlren, Brittany, Brandy, Andrew, Erica, John, Ross, Branson, Joey, William, Robert and Dustin; 3 step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
