Mrs. Willia Mae Earnhardt (Lamb) Ratliff age 55, a resident of Big Jack Rd., Thomasville, NC and formerly of Badin passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 18 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Steve Phillippi. Interment will follow at Uwharrie United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Ratliff was born September 11, 1961 in Davidson County to Roy Earnhardt and Kathleen Turner Earnhardt. She had worked for Lamb’s Auto Sales and most recently she was employed by KFC. She attended Freedom Outreach Ministries. In addition to her parents Willia was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Earnhardt, Pete Hurley, Howard Hurley, and Richard Earnhardt, and by a daughter, Amanda L. Lamb. Surviving, husband, Gary Dean Ratliff, Jr. of the home; son, Jason Lamb of Denton, Teresa Lamb of Denton; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Roy Lee Earnhardt of New London and Robert Earnhardt of Salisbury; sisters, Alice Morris of New London, Ruby Passmore of New London, and Rachel Mabe of Star. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of Ruby Passmore on Blaine Rd., New London.
