A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 14 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Danny Hosler and Rev. Gerald Ward. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 TO 8:00 pm Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence. Mrs. Cagle was born August 13, 1924 in Randolph County to Clyde Snider and Hazel Latham Snider. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church and a retired employee of Burlington Industries, Asheboro Plant and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a son, Nathan Cagle, by brothers Ralph Snider and Burrell Snider and by a sister, Eddith Gallimore. She is survived by her husband, of 69 years, Paul Cagle of the home; daughters, Geraldean Varner and Joyce McDowell both of Asheboro; brothers, Richard Snider and wife Judy of Denton, Raeford Snider and wife Jenny of Asheboro; sisters Susie Cook of Fort Mill, SC and Nancy Skeen and husband Donald of Denton and grandchildren, Vickie Massingale, Dale Cagle, Darrell Cagle, Dennis Varner, Shelia Lynch, Greg Varner and Sherry Johnson; daughter-in-law Bonnie Cagle, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-009. .
