Wayne Steele

Mr. Wayne Thomas Steele, age 77 of Lands End Road, Denton, NC died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence. A Graveside Service will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, June 27 at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home. Mr. Steele was born August 22, 1937 in Camden, New Jersey to Charles Steele and Alice Hudson Steele. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force and a retired electrical engineer with the Public Service Electric and Gas Utility in New Jersey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Carthart Steele of the home; 1 son; 2 daughters; 1 sister; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
