Wayne Presnell

Mr. Wayne Elijah Presnell age 84, formerly of Sexton Rd., Denton died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Genesis Healthcare in Salisbury. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Mr. Presnell was born December 16, 1931 in Randolph County to Lonnie Presnell and Viola Dunning Presnell. Wayne had worked as a machine operator in furniture manufacturing and was a member of Lifeline Ministries. In addition to his parents Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Rattz Presnell on Dec. 9, 2002. Survivng are sons, Terry Wayne Presnell and Lonnie Wilson Presnell both of Asheboro; daughter, Billie Sue Hayes of Denton; step daughters, Kathy Lee Holt of the home and Patty Jo Hunt of Troy; brothers, Charles Henry Presnell of Asheboro and Phillip “Dink” Presnell of Franklinville; 4 grandchildren.
