C. Wayne Lineberry , AGE: 65 of Forest Hill Dr., Denton , died Friday, August 18, 2006 at his residence Mr. Lineberry was born July 27, 1941 in Randolph County to Curtis H. Lineberry, Jr. and Mary Huneycutt Lineberry. He was a graduate of East Carolina University and had worked with Nationwide Insurance Company in Salisbury as a Loss Control Specialist. Along with his wife he was co-owner and operator of Gold Hill Lumber Company in Gold Hill. He had served on the board of directors of National Safety & Health Council of North Carolina and was a member and past president of the North Carolina Society of Safety Engineers. He was co-owner of Mojo Bar-B-Que in Jacksonville, Florida He is survived by his wife, Katherine (Kitty) Steed Lineberry of the home sons Greg Lineberry and wife Erin and Todd Lineberry and wife Melissa all of Jacksonville, Florida, brotherJ. Albert (Al) Lineberry of Winston-Salem and grandchildren Jordan Steed, Cameron Bailey, Katherine McKenna (Mac) and Atticus Wayne Lineberry. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 21 at 4:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Denton Town Cemetery. The family will see friends Sunday from 6:00 TO 8:00 pm Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton, other times at the residence on Forest Hill Drive.
