Warren Patrick Sparks

Warren Patrick Sparks, 78, of Chester St., Marston, died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Rockingham Manor. Funeral Services were private. Pat was born March 10, 1934 in Richmond County, the son of Edgar Herbert and Lena Ruth Hatcher Sparks. He was a conductor with the Norfolk-Southern Railroad for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by a daughter, Camille Sparks of Biscoe; a brother, Edgar H. Sparks of Rockingham; 3 sisters, Pansy Strickland and Frances Frazier, both of Rockingham and Alta Swofford of Texas. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
