Warren Cochran

Warren Lynden Cochran, 86, formerly of Shoreline Dr., Lexington, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Thomasville Medical Center. Warren was born January 7, 1937, in Wetzel County, West Virginia to Evertt Cochran and Dora Brookover Cochran. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was of the Methodist faith. During his job as a project manager Warren had worked for Tel-Media, Time Warner, and Armstrong Utilities. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Wagoner Cochran; a grandson, Adam Croskey.. He is survived by daughters, Pam Smithbower of Lexington, and Jana Dove of PA; sons, Warren Lee “Bucky” Cochran of Lexington, and Lynden Evertt Cochran of Winterville, GA; 3 sisters, Bernidine Culp, Grace Grimm, and Thelma Lou Hyatt; 8 grandchildren, Jessica Valo, Clayton Valo, Tana Dove, Nicole Dove, Randy Dove, Kala Croskey, Jordon Cochran, and Cory Cochran; and by 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
