Mrs. Wanda Sue Elders Kiger, age 81 of Jerusalem Road, Lexington, NC died Thursday, January 4 at Forsyth Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton.
Mrs. Kiger was born April 29, 1942 in Swaim County to Roscoe Elders and Antha York Elders .She had worked in retail sales at Roses. Inc.
She is survived by her husband John Thomas Kiger of the home; sons Thomas Wayne Kiger of Lexington, and Gary Lee Kiger and wife Jennifer of Barnardsville; daughter Rhonda Wallace of Lexington; brother Huey Elders of Lexington; sisters Norma Jean Johnson and Audrey Perry both of Asheville, and Correnna Barker of Bryson City; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
