Wanda Beanblossom

Mrs. Wanda Crabb Beanblossom, age 73 of Floyd Church Road, Lexington, NC died Saturday, march 7 at her residence after a sudden illness. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 11 at Holloways Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dana Slack and Rev. Craig Barnhill. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence on Floyd Church Road. Mrs. Beanblossom was born January 2, 1942 in Wilkes County to Willie Rover Crabb and Ruby McCann Crabb. She was an active member of Holloways Baptist Church and aa retired employee Lexington Furniture Industries, Plant #12. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother John David Crabb and a sister Imogene Edwards.and a great grandchild, Devin Douglas. She is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Jim Beanblossom of the home; sons Charles Beanblossom and wife Donna and Wade Beanblossom all of Lexington; brothers, Coy Crabb of Boonville and Willie Crabb of Flordia; sister Mary Sue Vanhoy of Booneville; grandchildren, Cody Beanblossom, Lisa Fowler, Karen Douglas, Jessica Varner and Crissy Hockett; 6 great grandchildren.
