W. Michael Tysinger

William Michael "Tidy Bowl" Tysinger, 66, of Bringle Ferry Rd., Denton, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his residence. Born on June 29, 1958, at Griffis Clinic in Denton, he was the son of William “Bill” Tysinger and Joyce Everhart Tysinger. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Bill Tysinger.

Michael was a graduate of Denton High School, class of 1977, and worked in the lumber industry as a sawmill worker. Being of the Methodist faith, he attended Fairview United Methodist Church in his earlier years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.

Left to cherish Michael’s memory are his loving wife, Lisa England Tysinger of the home; his three sons, Phillip Ross Tysinger of Albemarle, William Earl Tysinger of the home, and Robert Michael Tysinger (Shiann Lewis) of the home; his mother, Joyce E. Tysinger of Denton; sisters, Wanda Cox (Donald) of Denton, Kathy T. Suggs of Winston Salem, and Vickie T.  Rogers of Lexington; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Bentley, Blake, and Eylsia.

A celebration of life service for Michael will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Fairview United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Other times, the family will be at the home of his mother, Joyce Tysinger, on Tysinger Rd., Denton.
