Vonciel Snider

Mrs. Vonciel Bisher Snider, age 88 formerly of Canaan Church Road, Denton, died Monday, October 26 at Elmcroft Senior Living in Asheboro. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 31 at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dennis Sheppard. The body will lie in state at Briggs Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday morning prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Snider was born August 31, 1932 in Randolph County to Roscoe Val Bisher and Ola Underwood Bisher. She had worked as a secretary at Snider Lumber Company. She was married to James Bruce Snider who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley Bruce Snider and daughter-in-law, Helen Surratt Snider. She is survived by brothers, Donald Bisher and wife Delcie and Max Bisher and wife Darcus; sister-in-law, Elaine Snider Voncannon all of Denton and brother-in-law, Johnny Snider and wife Carol of Pfafftown. Briggs Funeral Home is serving the Snider Family.
