Vonceil Hulin

Ms. Vonceil Loflin Hulin age 84, formerly of Mose Glover Rd., Denton passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, Dec. 31 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Alleghany United Methodist Church Cemetery. Ms. Hulin was born February 22, 1932 in Davidson County to Talmadge Loflin and Jennie Walker Loflin. She was a member of Alleghany United Methodist Church and had worked for Burlington Industries. Vonceil loved working in her flower beds and was always willing to help someone. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Hulin. Surviving are daughter, Linda Coleman and husband Gene of Denton; son, Gary Hulin and wife Janice of Denton; brothers, Huey Loflin of Thomasville and Gene Loflin of Shallotte; sister, Alice Plowman of Albemarle; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren all of whom she loved deeply. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the respective homes of the children.
