Vivian Shields Mcmillen

Vivian Shields McMillen, 84, of Eagle Springs, passed peacefully into the Lord’s hands on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside Service will be held at the Smith Family Cemetery on Monday, May 12th at 11:00 AM. She was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on May 26, 1927. She retired from Eastern Airlines after many happy years of service and travel. Her loves were her family, friends, reading, gardening and her cats. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lettra and Herbert Shields and her Brother Bill Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Wilt and husband Dan, and grandson Daniel, all of Eagle Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moore Humane Society, 535 NC 22, Carthage, NC 28327. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
