Virginia "Jenny" Sarks

Virginia “Jenny” Carol Dunigan Sarks, 76, of New Hope Rd., Denton, NC went to her heavenly home on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at Calvary Gospel Church conducted by Rev. Don Jarrell. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow, WV conducted by Rev. Colton Ferrell.

Jenny was born in War, WV, on October 28, 1946, to Ralph Dunigan and Elsie Dunigan. She was a member of Calvary Gospel Church and had worked in the food service industry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger E Sarks, a grandson, Remington Wyatt Ferrell; and by siblings, Ernest England, Freida Dunigan, Jimmy Dunigan, Roy Dunigan, Sue Hicks, and Violenne Sharkey.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Roger Sarks and wife Kimberly of Denton; daughter, Melinda Ferrell and husband Roy of WV; brother, James Dunigan of OH; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Sarks (Isabella) of Albemarle, Colton Ferrell of WV, Kori Haltom (Mark) of Denton, and Ali Ross (Jake) of WV; 2 great-grandchildren, Bodey and Brynley Haltom.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at Calvary Gospel Church prior to the service.
