Viola Ferrell Morris

Mrs. Viola Mae Ferrell Morris, 84, of Dusty Level Rd., Troy, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. A graveside memorial service will be 3:00 PM Thursday, October 20 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Vannoy officiating. Born in Davidson County on November 21, 1926, she was the daughter of Lindsay and Clater Lanier Ferrell. She was a seamstress and was preceded in death by her husband, Barron Lee Morris in 1991. She is survived by 2 Daughters, Delores George and Lucille Sabiston, both of Troy; 2 Sons, Edgar and Raymond Morris, both of Troy; a brother, Alford Ferrell of Denton; 8 Grandchildren; 1 Step-grandchild; 11 Great-grandchildren; 2 Step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church. Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Mt.
