Vincent Russell

Mr. Earl Vincent Russell age 89, of Deer Forest Lane, Denton died Monday, October 26, 2015 at his residence. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, Oct. 30 at New Hope United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Joe Conley. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. The family will see friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence. Mr. Russell was born July 2, 1926 in Davidson County to Wilson Russell and Clara Steed Russell. He was a graduate of Denton High School and a veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II. In addition to his parents Vincent was also preceded in death by brothers, Sgt. Dalton Dwight Russell and Raeford McCoy Russell and by sisters, Angilee Bullins and Lucy Mabe. Surviving are wife, Louise Russell Russell of the home; daughter, Phyliss Street and husband Red of Denton; granddaughter, Becca Luck; great grandson, Jase Luck; nephews, Daryl and Roger Bullins.
