Vickie Covington

.Mrs. Vickie Hunt Covington, age 63 of Surratt Drive, Denton, NC died Tuesday, July 4 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 8 at Lineberry United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Richard J. Gould and Rev. Terri Cook. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service. Mrs. Covington was born June 15, 1954 in Davidson County to Brink Thomas Hunt and Wilma Lee Surratt Hunt. She had worked at Burlington Industries, Denton Plant and was a member of Lineberry United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Timmy Covington of Denton; a son Larry T Martin of Denton, a step-daughter Tabitha Hooper of Denton; sisters Martha Hunt and Donna Small of Denton, Vivian Loflin of Trinity; grandchildren, Autumn, Taylor and Sawyer. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
