Vergie Tysinger

Virgie Hill Tysinger, 86, of Mountain Vista Health Park, formerly of Tysinger Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Thomasville Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fairview United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Doug Rowe, the Rev. Alvin Pope and the Rev. Butch Conrad officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was the widow of Oscar P. Tysinger and a homemaker. Surviving are sons, Bill Tysinger, Bobby Tysinger and Cletus Tysinger, all of Denton; daughter, Edith Hedrick of Denton; brother, Arnold Hill of Lexington; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; 12 stepgreat-great-grandchildren. The family will be at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, other times at the home of Bill Tysinger, Tysinger Road.
