Vedal Smith Parker

Mrs. Vedal Smith Parker, 84, of Briggs Rd. Lexington passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 10 at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Parker was born December 26, 1935 in Baldwin, FL to Harney Smith, Sr. and Janie Raulerson Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Joe Parker on January 19, 2018; son, Jack McDonald; daughter, Terri Parker; grandson, T.J. McDonald; sister, Louise; brothers, George, Harney, Jr., and Melvin.

She is survived by daughters, Brenda Miles and husband Gary of Lexington, Linda Moore and husband Doug of VA, and Sonia Dohm and husband Chuck of Rock Hill, SC; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
