Tryphene Glover

Ms. Tryphene Romaine Glover, age 90 of NC  Hwy # 8 South, Denton, NC died Monday August 12 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 16 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery on Loftin Road, Denton conducted by Rev. Richard Gould and Rev. James T (Chip) Webb. The family will hold a reception in the fellowship hall of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church following the graveside service. Ms Glover was born November 18, 1928 to Moses Glover and Nellie Glover. She was an active member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she had served in many positions.  She was a graduate of Denton High School and attended Ashemore Business College She was the retired office manager of Surratt Hosiery Mills where she worked for 60 years retiring at age 82.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Treuby Rackley and a brother Clarence Glover. She is survived by her son, James (Jim) Eddie Glover and wife Carol of Denton; a brother Carl Glover of Lexington; grandchildren, Lannette Moss and Husband Drew and Karlton Glover and wife Carrie; great grandchildren Addie Moss, Cameron Moss, Harper Glover and Lillian Hegler.
