Tony Dale Workman

Mr. Tony Dale Workman, 62, of Yates Rd. Denton, NC passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Thomasville Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 25, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Grubb’s Grove Original Church of God Cemetery.

Tony was born on April 10, 1959, in Davidson County to Arlie Workman, Sr. and Bertha Presnell Tucker Workman. He was a member of Grubb’s Grove Original Church of God and was a Truck Driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-brother, Elwood Tucker and a step-sister, Loretta Grubb.

He is survived by his wife, Raymonette Wilson Workman of the home; sons, Adam Workman and wife Jessica of Denton and Austin Dale Workman of the home; daughter, Danette Sexton of Jamestown; his beloved dog, DJ; brother, Arlie Workman, Jr. of Denton; sisters, Linda Skeen of Asheboro and Joyce Burchette of Denton; step-sister, Ruth Hogan of the New Hope Community; 3 grandchildren, Sierra Kidd, Allie Short, and Tanner Workman.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of his son, Adam Workman.
