Timothy Joe Jenkins

Timothy Joe Jenkins, 46, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Lenoir Healthcare in Lenoir. A memorial service will be 3 PM Saturday at Long Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Forrest officiating. Born in Richmond County on October 29, 1970, he was the son of Robert Lee and Rosa Brady Jenkins. He was a finance manager, having worked with McRae Chevrolet and Friendly Chevrolet. He will be remembered as being a loving father, grandfather, husband, son and brother. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie Silvia Jenkins of the home; son, Chandler Alexander Jenkins of Star; 2 daughters, Holly Noel Fields of Jackson Springs and Hannah Jenkins of Star; 2 Stepsons, Storm Ambrose Waterman of Asheboro and Dalton Wyatt Thomas of Asheboro; 2 stepdaughters, Elaine Naomie Thomas of Asheboro and Ashely Lynn Thomas of Massachusetts; Father, Robert Jenkins of Biscoe; brother, Doug Jenkins of Ellerbe; 7 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM prior to the service on Saturday at Long Hill Baptist Church. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
