Calvin Timothy “Tim” Hogan age 64, of Varner St., Denton died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 1, at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. James Cooper. Tim was born July 12, 1951 in Montgomery County to George Washington Hogan and Sarah Margi Johnson Hogan. He was of the Baptist Faith and had worked in textiles. In addition to his parents Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Verna Magdalene Hogan Gallimore. Surviving is brother, George William Hogan (Laura Jane) of Denton; cousins, Faye H. Vestal, Sandi Hopkins, Patricia Miller, Sue Hill, and Mike Tinsley; niece, Imogene Woodring; great niece, Tasha Canter The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 to 12:45 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at 350 E.
