Mr. Thomas Webb Rogers age 74 of Beech Tree Lane, NC died Monday, November 03, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Lick Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Scott Steed. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Rogers was born May 10, 1940 in Davidson County to Fred Anderson Rogers and Maggie Mae Denny Rogers. He was a member of Lick Creek Baptist Church and worked as a carpenter. In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Johnson Rogers; daughter, Rebecca Rogers McMahan; and by a brother, Fred Denny Rogers. Survivors include, sons; Thomas Denny Rogers (Cindy) of Lexington and Mark Graham Rogers (Leta) of Lexington; daughter, Debra Rogers Logan of Denton; step son Lance Thompkins (Mandy) of Lexington; step daughter, Sandy Thorarinson (Michael) brother, Bill Rogers (Elsie) of Denton; sisters, Jean Jarvis of Denton and Nell Rogers Holt (Earnest) of Denton; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
