Thomas Morgan Robinson, 86, of Seven Lakes South, West End, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Memorial Services will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church. Born in Pembroke, Massachusetts on August 21, 1929, he was the son of Edward Crawford and Grace Madore Robinson. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War and had owned several businesses, but was best known as Robco Builders and Recon Ltd. He was a former Middleboro Kiwanian, a foster parent to children in crisis in New Bedford MA and was active in his church, serving as both an usher and a substitute CCD teacher. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale James Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Roberta Shine Robinson of the home; son, Thomas Morgan Robinson, Jr. of Raynham MA; daughter, Kim Marie Jordan of Santa Paula CA; 2 grandchildren, Carly R. Freitas and Adam Robinson; 5 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 5889, Pinehurst NC 28374 or to the U.S. Veterans Hospital, 2300 Ramsey St., Fayetteville NC 28301. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
