Thelma Clark Chappell

Thelma Clark Chappell, 87, of Candor, died Friday at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in the Candor Cemetery with Rev. Laura Thompson officiating. Mrs. Chappell was born August 12, 1928 in Moore County, the daughter of Alonzo Clyde and Lela Ann Long Daughtry. She was a home maker. She is survived by her husband, Mack Chappell of the home; 2 daughters, Melissa Clark and Lynn Clark, both of Candor. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
