Terry Sumerlin

Mrs. Terry Bland Sumerlin, 68, of Tom’s Creek Ch. Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in High Point.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Terry was born  on November 29, 1953, in Edgecombe County to Floyd Wilson Bland and Annie Scott Bland. She had attended Summerville Baptist Church and was last employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Asheboro. In addition to her parents Terry was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Bland.

She is survived by her husband, William Sumerlin of the home; daughters, Tammy Hedrick of Mocksville and Billie Skeen of Denton; brothers, Floyd Bland of Jackson, TN and Tony Bland of Tarboro; 3 grandchildren, Gwyn Jones, Thad Jones, and Dawson Hedrick.
