Terry Childers

  Mr. Terry Lynn Childers, Sr., age 64, a resident of Shiptontown Road., Denton passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Brian Center Lexington.   A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 20 at Floyd Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Shane Smith and Rev. Derald Smith. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.   Mr. Childers was born April 6, 1953 in Cleveland County to Thomas Lynn Childers and Bobbie Henson Childers.  Terry was the owner and operator of Terry’s Tees at Webb Road Flea Market in Salisbury. He was preceded in death by his father and son, Terry Lynn Childers, Jr.   He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Lusk Childers of the home; daughter, Brittany Ann Childers of Denton; mother, Bobbie Childers of Shelby; brother, Ronnie Childers of California; 3 grandchildren, Lilly Ann Collier, Eva and Gabe Childers.   The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Shiptontown Rd.   Online condolences may be made at www.briggsfuneralhome.com
