Terri Teresa Parker

Ms. Terri Teresa Parker, age 47, of Lexington died Wednesday, March 14 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 16 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Ms. Parker was born December 9, 1964 in Charleston County, South Carolina to Tommy J. and Vedal Smith Parker. For several years she had worked as a caregiver for the elderly. She attended Berkley County Schools and Maranatha Private School. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Johnny R. and Bessie Parker and maternal grandparents, Harney Smith and Janie Raulerson McDonald and beloved pet Pugsley. She is survived by her parents of Lexington, one brother Jack McDonald and wife Bonnie of Lexington, three sisters, Linda Conner Moore and husband Doug of Maiden, Brenda Miles and husband Gary of Lexington, Sonia Dohm and husband Chuck of Charlotte, six nephews and one niece. She also leaves behind a special friend, Dwayne Livengood. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
