Tempie Yarboro Mcintyre

Mrs. Tempie Yarboro McIntyre, 74 of Mt. Gilead, NC died Monday, February 24, 2014 at Stanly Regional Hospital in Albemarle. Mrs. McIntyre was born August 12, 1939 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Roy Wade and Mary Beulah Haywood Yarboro. She was a member of Holly Mount Baptist Church and a seamstress. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Bobby McIntyre, Sr. of the home; children, Shelia McIntyre Deese (Terry) of Mt. Gilead, Bobby McIntyre, Jr. (Laurie) of Mt. Gilead, James Andrew McIntyre (Carolyn) of Waxhaw; grandchildren, Deanna Deese, Shelby Frazer, Sarahann McIntyre and Bobby McIntyre, III; and a brother, Charles Yarboro of Mt. Gilead. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Holly Mount Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Poole and Pastor Bryan Faggart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy and at other times at the home.
