Teenie Morris

Mrs. Ernestine “Teenie” Welborn Morris, age 96, of E. Carroll Avenue, Denton died on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 6 at 4:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Shane Smith officiating. Mrs. Morris was born September 15, 1922 in Davidson County to Guy Welborn and Blanche Newsom Welborn.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.  She had worked in the finishing room at Thornton Hosiery Mill.  She was married to Max Morris who died November 7, 2005. She is survived by her son, Steve Morris and wife Brooxie of Denton; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
