Ted Byerly

Mr. Ted Wayne Byerly, 80, a resident of Floyd Rd., Lexington, NC passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his residence.

A private graveside service will be held at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Byerly was born June 23, 1939 in Davidson County to Otha Byerly and Frances Floyd Byerly. He was a member of Floyd Baptist Church and Southmont Fire Department for over 30 years and had previously served as chief. Ted served in the Army National Guard and retired from Lexington City Schools. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Randall Ted (Randy) Byerly; brother, John Byerly; sister, Dianne Byerly Rayburn.

Ted is survived by his wife, Mildred Floyd Byerly of the home; brother, Carl Byerly and wife Linda of Thomasville; and several special nieces and nephews.
