Tammy Newton Martin

Tammy Lynn Newton Martin, 40 of Mountain Vista Health Park and formerly of Rock Hill, SC died Wednesday at Thomasville Medical Center from complications resulting from an accident in 2002. Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Martin was born October 1, 1966 in Stanly County to Clifford Clyde Newton, Sr. and Carol Almond Newton. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend. Mrs. Martin was of the Baptist faith and an avid gardner. Survivors include, fiance; Steve Starnes of Rock Hill, SC, sons; Kersey Martin, Christian Barrett both of Conway, SC and Chase Starnes and Trey Starnes both of Rock Hill, SC; daughter; Brittany Martin of Monroe, NC Parents; Clifford Clyde Newton, Sr. of China Grove and Carol Almond McDonald of Denton, brothers; Clifford "Butch" Newton Jr. of Denton, Jeffrey Newton of Badin, and twin brother Timothy Newton of Mt. Gilead, sister; Stephanie Newton Conrad of Denton, special friend; Davy Martin of Conway, SC The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
