Tammie King Pierce

Tammie Lynn King Pierce, 60, of Cardinal Dr., New London and formerly of Cid Rd., Lexington passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point. In celebration of Tammie the family ask that those in attendance wear colorful clothing.

Tammie was born November 3, 1962, in Guilford County to Harvey Wayne King and Geraldine Clodfelter King. She was of the Baptist faith and had been employed in Medical Billing for Solstice Labs. Some of Tammie’s favorite things was cooking, cleaning, baking, traveling to the beach, listening to beach music, watching the Walton’s, being hospitable to others, and Pink was her favorite color.

In addition to her parents, Tammie was also preceded in death by her husband Troy Lynn Pierce.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jessica Marie Phillips of Denton; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Hohn and Madison Phillips; 3 sisters, Ginger Fedewa, Debbie Singleton, and Levon Green.

The family will receive friends on Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
