Mrs. Swannee Williams Sexton, age 58, of North Main St., Denton died Thursday, February 6 at her home. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, February 9 at Central United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Sharon T. Lee. The family will receive friends following the service in the Central United Methodist Church Hut and other times will be at the residence on N. Main Street. Mrs. Sexton was born November 5, 1955 in Davidson County to C. L. Williams and Lillian Wicker Williams. She was a graduate of Davidson County Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science Nursing. She had been employed with High Point Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and a member of the Mary Frances Stubbs Circle and had received a Service Pin from the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her husband, Stewart Sexton of the Home; a son, Dan Sexton and wife, Kim of Denton; mother, Lillian Williams of Thomasville; sister, Bonnie Shuler and husband Wayne of Thomasville; mother-in-law, Johnsie Sexton of Denton; sister-in-law, Sarah Morris and husband Andy of Denton; brother-in-law, John Sexton and wife Celia of Claremont, She was a special, loving Aunt “Duck-Duck” to her nieces and nephew, Meredith and Laura Sexton, Gracie Morris, and Lucy & Kurt Shuler.
