Sue Dzomba Swain

Sue Carol Dzomba Swain, 87, of West End, NC, died Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.  Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 14, 2025 at Doub’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM prior to the service at Fairview Baptist Church.

Born in Cleveland Ohio on July 19, 1937, she was the daughter of Richard and Ruth Meyer Dzomba.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and had worked for United States Steel, and had been a Moore County School Bus driver.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dean Swain and a sister, Karen Dzomba.

Sue is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Shipley of Parma OH, and Carol Gene Albert of West End; sister, Gail Lang of Sarasota FL; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
