Wilma Sue Ferguson Snider, of Garner Road, Denton, died Thursday, November 28 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm Sunday, December 1 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Danny Hosler. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Snider was born September 2, 1948 in Sullivan County, Tennessee to James Lee Ferguson and Ollie Jane Craver Ferguson. She was the former owner of Snider’s Greenhouse and attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed making jewelry, reading, and volunteering with Relay for Life. Her brothers, Gene Ferguson, Leonard Ferguson, and Jack Ferguson, and her sisters, Margie Robinson, and Leota Laws, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Snider of the home; her daughter, Tammy Snider Bush and, husband, Sam; her son, Matt Snider and girlfriend, Tracey Leonard, her brothers, Roy Ferguson, Earl Ferguson, and Ken Ferguson; her sister in law, Betty Snider, and her grandson, Colby Bush.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
