Sue Morris Elliott

 Mrs. Sue Ella Morris Elliott, age 89, of Denton died Tuesday, October 24 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton.   A Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 27th at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Shane Smith.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.   Mrs. Elliott was born in Davidson County October 6, 1928 to Hoke Morris and Mary Lee Carroll Morris.  She was a member of First Baptist Church where she oversaw the children’s nursery for many years. She was the retired co-owner and operator of Elliott Auto Supply.  She was married to Kermit Elliott who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded by her parents and by a daughter Caprice Hilton, a brother Ronald Morris and a sister Arlene Barnes.   She is survived by a son, Brent Elliott of Denton; a granddaughter, Karma Hilton, a sister Lynda Morris and a great grandchild Christopher and great-great grandchild Leann.   Online condolences may be made at www.briggsfuneralhome.com
