Stanley Bruce Snider

Mr. Stanley Bruce Snider, age 60, of Denton died early Tuesday morning, April 26 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Funeral service for Mr.Snider will be 1:00 pm Friday at Briggs Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mr. Snider was born June 11, 1950 in Davidson County to James Bruce and Vonciel Bisher Snider. He was a graduate of Denton High School and served 6 years in the Army National Guard. He worked with his father in Snider Lumber Company until 1986 and then owned and operated S. B. Snider Enterprises, Inc. He was a member of Living Church of God in Asheboro. Mr. Snider is survived by his wife, Helen Surratt Snider, of the home, one son, David Bruce Snider and wife Jill Marie of Denton, his parents, Bruce and Vonciel Snider of Denton and two grandchildren, Mercedes and Taylor.
