Shirley Parsons

Mrs. Shirley McWilliams Parsons, 79, of Candor, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Macedonia Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Matthew Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Chicot County, Arkansas on September 27, 1937, she was the daughter of Harvey A. and Mary Jane Maddox McWilliams. She was a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church and a bookkeeper with the Pulaski County School System in Arkansas. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Parsons of the home; 2 sons, Greg Parsons (Dondra) of Candor, and Steve Parsons (Julie) of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Mary Lamonds (Rodger) of Candor; 2 sisters, Gusta Tice of Eldorado, AR, and Katherine Mantooth of Sherwood, AR; 7 grandchildren, Charles Parsons, Janna Parsons, Christina Cosby, Adam Parsons, Alan Parsons, Austin Lamonds, and Katlyn Lamonds; 9 great-grandchildren; and a number of her favorite nieces and nephews.
