Shirley Loflin

Shirley Ailene Hoy Loflin, age 70 of Crouch St. Troy died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at her residence. Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Greene Cemetery with Rev. Gary Rutherford officiating. The family will see friends on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy and other times at the residence on Crouch St., Troy. Mrs. Loflin was born August 11, 1940 in Harlan Kentucky to Charlie Fee and Dallas Harris Fee. She was a retired CNA and was preceded in death by her first husband John W. Hoy, Sr. and by a sister Flora Greene. Survivors include, sons, John William Hoy Jr. of Lenoir, Donald Ray Hoy of Albemarle, and Kenneth Wayne Hoy of Mt. Gilead, daughters, Anna Leach of Troy, Linda Gail Hoy of Albemarle, and Mary Margaret Burris of Troy, brothers, Roy and Sammy Fee of Ohio, and Floyd Fee of VA., sisters, Linda Porter of Ohio, Patsy Garrett of KY, and Rena Shepard of Troy, 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
