Sharon "Sally" Trexler

Sharon Jane “Sally” Vanhoy Trexler age 59, of Grubb Rd. Denton passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at her residence. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, Aug. 9 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bud Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence. Sally was born February 15, 1958 in Davidson County to Bobby E. Vanhoy and Marian Jeanette Hill Vanhoy. She was employed with CVS as a shift supervisor as long as her health allowed. In addititon to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Michael Vanhoy. Surviving is, husband, John Trexler of the home; daughter, Amy Moore of Denton; brother, Tommy Vanhoy of Denton; sisters, Lucy Woods and Karen Martin both of Denton; 2 grandchildren Gabe and Seth; several nieces and nephews.
